Previous Interns
Eleanor is a medical student at The Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra and joined as an intern in March 2021. Eleanor is currently working on a joint collaborative project with the University of Alberta investigating policy interventions targeted at enabling financial wellbeing in the context of COVID-19.
Doing an internship with CHETRE has been a delightful and enlightening part of my study. I came to realise how much determinants of health exist outside the biomedical aspect through this opportunity, and it has inspired me to do more work in this field and contribute to efforts to improve health equity in my country, Indonesia.
My internship at CHETRE was a great experience. In this role, I was able to develop my research skills and broaden my knowledge and interest areas. I also learnt to enhance my writing skills as well as grew my network and engaged with colleagues in a productive way. I would highly recommend undertaking an internship with CHETRE.
