Health, wellbeing and sustainable tenancies for studio clients: A Place based intervention and evaluation

his Health and Housing Partnership projects aims to improve the health and wellbeing of tenants residing in a mixed-tenancy Studio complex in Miller, a locationally disadvantage area in south western Sydney. It is a co-design place-based intervention and evaluation project with Health, Housing and tenants involved in all project stages. The intervention, guided by tenant ideas and priorities, is being implemented by Housing with support from Health. Other local partners and support services are also involved in activities. The evaluation is expected to demonstrate the benefits of increased engagement and support for housing clients. Once implemented and evaluated, learnings from the project could be used to inform broader approaches to supporting sustainable tenancies and enhancing health outcomes within social housing clients.
